It pains me to give this book such a low rating...but it wasn't one of her better books. This one started off real good...couldn't put it down. But by around the middle of the book it started to get a bit boring. Tho I learned a few tid bits of civil war info. I really liked the spirit of the main character; katie...tho she should have fought a little harder later on in the book. That's what I was hoping for anyway...very disappointing for me anyway... : (
