I received 4 nice books in GREAT condition today.

PS-This is in response to all the negative comments about RWAP. Not that that is bad because I have been there, done that, I just wanted to see who else had great experiences today. :)

Me!  It was actually yesterday but I received two books from the same person.  I've been pretty lucky so far...only 3 or 4 in 73 received that were unpostable.

Yesterday I got two books in very good condition. Last week I got two hardcover books that looked brand new. Well, they probably were, as they were new releases from within the past few weeks. But that is the norm for me, really. I get a lot of books and problems are very rare; my last RWP was in June and that was a book damaged by USPS. Before that it was January and it was a wrong book sent.

I like this thread!  In September, I receive 14  books - 12 were in like-new condition and the other 2 were well-read but still holding up great :-D

On a bright note, I have never received a bad book from PBS (knock on wood).

Almost all the books I've received lately have been seemingly brand-new hardcover WL books. I've been very happy!

Earlier this week I received a highly WLed book that I couldn't wait to get & read. The book is like new & the sender was extremely nice! She wrapped and packaged the book very nicely and even mailed it priority mail. I've gotten a lot of great books here, but this is my most recent wonderful experience.

I got a package of books wrapped in paw print paper because she knew I love animals. How sweet is that? :)

I received a few paperback books lately that are from the early 80s and they have been in well-read but certainly still postable condition. I'm especially glad I got them because I remember reading them years ago and was hunting for them--they were both wishlisted.

I recieved a paperback copy of the Mooswood low-fat cookbook that was in MINT condition, brand spanking new. I was so happy because it has been on my wishlist for ages.

I also recently recieved two books from a Time life series that has been out of print since the mid eighties. I was a bit worried becasue of the age of the books, but they arrived and are in wonderful condition.

I got four books today, plus 2 unpostables (one is borderline) as a deal! And last week I got an almost brand new book with a beautiful handmade bookmark with my initial on it. How sweet was that?

I love PBS - I don't have to pick between my book habit and my shopping habit! :)

I have been fortunate to have received good books in all my swaps too. Knock on wood.
