This is beautiful book written by a mother to her daughter. This mother adopted a beautiful baby.The mother looks at her doughtier every year on her birthday and marvels that she has such a beautiful child.This book has beautiful illustrations a real , new Birthday card that looks like the little girl in the book.Mom takes her little girl to the beach gives her a puppy, Takes her picnicking, and the child is Chinese so she talks to her about her Chinese heritage.This is a beautiful book for any mom and daughter because it shows the great love the mother has foe her child and that we are different nationalities in the US and some of us have ethnic customs.
