I wanted to make brownies, but the box recipe called for 2 eggs, and I only had one. I was feeling too lazy to go buy eggs, so I googled egg substitutes. I found a suggestion to use yogurt to replace an egg in baking and sure enough, it worked! Not only did it work, the brownies came out far more moist than when I make them with the 2 eggs that are called for. If you want try this yourself, I used a 4oz container of vanilla low-fat yogurt to replace one egg. |
