I am looking for young adult or teen books, my daughter ran out of things to read, and our library is limited. Please, no books that are children books that just say "teen" on them, my daughter is 14, and if you would also like to recommend her some things, that would be great! Thanks in advance!

On my shelf - Flirt in Mirror and Viking Claw

If interested, you can have both of these and another of your choosing for 1 credit.

Unfortunately I don't have any, but would like to recommend books by Sarah Dessen. I'm an adult, but really enjoy all her books I've read.

Treasure Island

Silas Mariner

Number the Stars

Captain's Courageous

How To Drive

Great Expectations

The Red Badge of Courage

Witnesses to War

Come and check them out.  The "How to Drive" book is from the driver's education class that my son took through AAA.

What kind of books is she interested in?  I have several books on my shelf that my teenage sister enjoyed, including "Nanny Diaries" and "Devil Wears Prada," but some of my other friends liked "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" and "Angela's Ashes," but those aren't specifically "teen" books, just ones that my sister enjoyed and that I would recommend to my friends.

My daughter is 17 & loves the Everworld series by Applegate (quick reads), the Eragon series by Paolini, the Inkheart series by Funke, the Pendragon series by MacHale & the Artemis Fowl series by Colfer.  She also loved "The DaVinci Code" & other books by Dan Brown & the Icefire series by D'Lacey.  I hope this helps.
