My daughter found a book in the library that she found interesting. It was called Eragon. She is a very fast reader.  She read the Harry Potter books in a month. But she was so interested in this book she didn't want to stop reading it. She read it in two days! She loved that book so much, she bought the other two books in the series. She is currently waiting for the forth book to come out. I would strongly recomend this book to young adults. smiley

I'm glad she liked it! I read Eragon and liked it a lot.  I found the rest of the books in the series boring...too much war, not enough story.  But I felt this way about The Hobbit (liked it) and the rest of the Lord of the Rings series (aslo boring).

Has your daugther ever read the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld? I really enjoyed that series!

My 14 year old DD read it when she was 10 I think.  Loved it, but not the rest of the series.  She likes the movie too.
