A wonderful historical novel about Hannibal and the wars of Carthage. Henty's novels are both educational and highly entertaining, beloved by homeschoolers everywhere.

This is one of Henty's best. Very action packed. From lion hunts to battlefields where elephants were used as tanks. This book follows the Carthaginians on the road to Rome and the battle that changed history forever. Henty was a master story teller. What a great way to learn history! One of my favorites.
