I've been starting to use PBS printable postage. The nearest post office box where I can drop off packages is not in my zip code - it's the next town over. (It's actually much closer to me than the nearest PO in my zip code, and it has a 24 hour package drop for larger packages.) So, when I print out a shipping label, it lists it as "mailed from" my home zip. This isn't a big deal (I've never had a package rejected because of that), but I know the post office would rather have that zip code be the correct one from where the package is mailed (it has to do with the way they are charged for mailing packages). Is there any way to change this so when I print PBS postage, it lists my correct return address (in case the package gets returned, I want my correct address on it) but in the spot for "mailed from" lists another zip? I didn't see any way to do this, but I may be missing something obvious. Karen Last Edited on: 3/12/08 3:52 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
