The subject of the book seemed fascinating, I love art historical fiction normally. The book was somewhat slow and jumped from character to character and time period to time period. The main character was not very likable to me, and the conclusion seemed anticlimactic even though it should have been very dramatic. Try it, but I didn't get too excited over it.
