This book continues the final scene from Zom-B City. B gets introduced to a new group of revitalized zombies and learns a lot more about her condition. There are a few old faces that show up again as well.
I enjoyed the information that was given out in this book - some history on the zombies and why some are becoming revitalized. B continues her personal quest to work on becoming a better person, though having grown up with so much misinformation and so little real information, combined with her aggressive personality, makes that difficult at times.
My only complaint about this book is that it's too short again. I realize that Shan is going for a short story sort of feel here, but for the last couple books it seems like the plot is only just getting moving when all of a sudden the book is over. I would like a bit more of a sense of a plot arc in each individual book.
