Another great Kleypas novel. If you are new to her books, don't start with this one as it references other charachters - but a great read once you've finished the others.

In the story of the final Wallflower, Daisy, I think her story was just okay. It didnt help that the story before was Devil in Winter, a favorite for all romance readers. I found myself a bit bored with Daisys story. I think there was not a huge focus on the couple, but involved previous Wallflowers, which did not work in the connection between the two. Some moments in the story were amusing, the key incident and I think that the ring was so romantic! Unfortunately, the story was forgettable, but its not a reason to not finish the series. I have really enjoyed the Wallflower series, but this one was my least favorite.

The last of the wallflowers, Daisy Bowman has been given an ultimatum by her father. Either find a husband, or marry the man he picks for her...Matthew Swift. Daisy doesn't want anything to do with Matthew, remembering him as a sober man who never smiles. But when Daisy meets Matthew again, sparks fly.

This was my least favorite of Kleypas' Wallflower series. Even though both the hero and heroine are both likeable characters, I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. If you are reading the series, I would still read it for the closure. But in my opinion, it is just your average historical romance.

Sweet story. Guy loves girl all his life but feels he doesn't deserve her. Girl sees guy after long absence and falls in love. Circumstances tenuous. Loved it!

The last of the wallflowers, this one doesn't disappoint. It's fun, but like many romances, it seems like the heroine changes her mind conveniently. But, that doesn't detract from the read.

I just adore this quartet. Daisy is the bookish dreamer of the group. She discovers that her father has set her up with his young business partner, father knows best? Of course, both parties want nothing to do with each other, but the chemistry speaks for itself. Enough intrigue and plenty of scenes with the other wallflowers. I will miss this series.

One word to describe this story: Sweet. Everything about this story was very sweet. I had a hard time with Daisy's parents reacting the way they did to Matthew's big secret. It just seemed out of character, but overall it was an easy, enjoyable read.

On another note, I'm so glad Kleypas didn't resort to her usual someone gets deathly ill and has to be nursed back to health plotline here. That by itself earned it a few more stars than usual.
