This was my first "cookbook mystery". I was pleasantly surprised. If you like thinking or reading about about food, watching cooking shows, and reading mysteries, you'll like this book.

I love everything thing Diane writes! She's funny and creates a wonderful mixture of intrigue, yummy food, real life and even gives you the recipes!

Humble Hardworking Goldy Shulz would never not help a neighbor to find her daughters killer, no matter how unstylish that neighbor might be. And we know how much appearances can count in Ritzy Aspen Meadow. Goldy is back once more dissing her ex, loving her dishy Tom (Is there a real Tom? I hope so! ) and raising her son and some time live in adoptee/apprentice to be responsible citizens. Boy we need more Goldies today. Read on!

DMD is cool. Her characters are easy to fall for. This book, as most of them, is easy to figure out. But, I enjoy DMD's books for those times when I don't want to think too much, but just want to visit with my fictional friends.

"i tripped over the body of Dusty Routt at half past ten on the night of October 19...." What and who at the law firm are liable to cook Goldy's goose.
