Heath has a wonderful way with words that keep you reading. Love the story lines & the way she presents.
Lauren meets Tom as a teen girl in texas. They spend time together and fall in love. Her mother meets and falls in love with a man and decides to marry and move with him to England. Lauren waits for Tom but never hears anything and begins to feel she should get on with her life. Until one day he appears in England for payment for a long ago debt so he says....
Wonderful romance with an old flame
Lorraine Heath has written another wonderful love story. Tom & Lauren met as children and he loved her at first sight. She left Texas when her mother remarried into aristocracy. Lauren always wanted to return to Texas and was on the verge of doing just that when Tom whom she had known as an orphan in Texas was discovered to be the heir to a vast manor in England. The final paragraph of this book will bring tears to your eyes. Keep the Kleenex handy.
Super, Loved the book didn't won't it to end!

This book got A rating on All About Romance. Yes it is a great book, but of course I love Lorraine Heath. All her books are great.
Long ago friends when they were young-he was poor, now he's an earl. I liked it.
On the outside, Lauren Fairfield appears the very picture of cool, contained nobility and bluebloodBritish sophistication. INside, howevr, she longs for Tom, the charming rogue she loved--and lost.
