I read Vampires Are Forever after the Accidental Vampire in the last few days and was disappointed in both.
My preference for vampires is a too-die-for handsome, somewhat arrogant bad boy, highly sensual being who is bought to his knees by the heroine. Sands' books leave me wanting what her characters lack. Her vampires are soft, too nice, and seem powerless.
I'll look for the vampire fix elsewhere.

This is a good series. Wouldn't recommend reading them staight through. They get a little boring and perdictable. At least that is the way I felt after reading this. The book itself was really good, I think that I was just needing a break from vampires at the time.
The more I read the better I like. Great take on Vampires who wish to be called Immortals. so much fun.

I like the series. However, Laurell Hamilton is stil my favorite.
Vampires don't exist do they?.. Inez Urso is beginning to have her doubts. Her business associate Thomas Argeneau has some intersting traits, like allergic reaction to the sun, excellent night vision, and not much of an appetite for food. And to top it all off, he just tried to bite her neck...but maybe that was a sign of passion. If so, she'd be happy to experience more, despite her determination not to mix business with pleasure.... HE'S BEEN WAITING FOREVER FOR A WOMAN LIKE HER....Well, if not forever, at least two hundred years. Inez is the most beautiful woman he's seen in centuries. Those luscious lips, seductive curves, and her elegant neck...he just could't resist the temptation of one little bite.. Now Thomas will do anything to convince her that only an immortal like him can satify her all night long... good read
I really love this series! Been waiting awhile for Thomas' story and I loved every moment :)
This is one of my favorites in the series...so much fun to finally have Thomas' story...Can't wait for the next one!
Great Book, hope she keeps them coming!!!
