Book Description:

Success hasn't spoiled screenwriter Lou Calabrese -- it's just given her a taste for luxury. And it's put her in some bizarre situations -- like in a helicopter en route to the wilds of Alaska, sharing too-close quarters with the last man she wants to be with: Jack Townsend! Once a sexy nobody whom Lou helped make a somebody, Jack's just been dumped by a high-profile Hollywood airhead -- who's eloped with Lou's longtime love! So what else could go wrong?

Well...

Their pilot could try to shoot the most adored man in America. They could crash land in the icy, mountainous middle of nowhere. And at the worst possible moment, when survival should be their only consideration, Jack could start wondering if maybe he wasn't a wee bit too hasty for not giving this sexy screenwriter a second look -- while Lou could start noticing how superstar Jack is kind of hot after all ...

The book has a few slow parts and it's fairly predictable. That said, it's also one heck of a great read! The banter between Lou and Jack is often hilarious, and they're both extremely likable characters. Plus, they have a lot of chemistry and heat, which adds up to some pretty steamy scenes. There's also a bit of insight into the inner-workings of Hollywood, and a sweet, secondary romance with a somewhat older couple. Cabot's writing is accessible and fun, and she has crafted a super-entertaining book.

I found it a little slow in some spots and the main character's behavior a little immature for her age so I had to put it down a few times before finishing it. Overall, Meg Cabot is a great writer and recommend almost all of her books.

She Went All the Way is one of those books you spend your Sunday with. The storyline follows screenwriter Lou and action hero Jack, who, of course dislike each other and who are thrown together after their helicopter crashes and someone sets about trying to kill them. This is a romantic comedy but full of great dialogue. Meg Cabot always has a wonderful sense of humor in her characters and this book is no exception. Lou is completely believable, smart and funny. This ChickLit book will definitely appeal to a young female reader. It will never be considered great literature but it was time well spent.

Another great novel from Meg Cabot. I think the title is a little misleading though. I thought picking it up that it was another Chick-Lit reading from her and I don't think I would put this in with Chick-Lit at all. It was more on par with her Heather Wells mystery series. A good read, nonetheless. It did take a little while to get into but once I did I couldn't put it down. I cared about what happened to the characters and even laughed out loud and some of the banter.

Another great book by Meg Cabot. I could hardly put it down because I just had to know what was going to happen next!

A reprint of an earlier book written under Meggin Cabot 9780060085445.

I really enjoyed it. The Banter between the two main characters had a "real" feel to it and cracked me up.
