A young lady in the south, runs a newspaper. When her silent partner shows up so do two assassins, a washed-up stripper and an insane poacher. It doesn't get any more romantic or dangerous.

It's great fun to ride along with Jamie as she finds that the silent partner in her Beaumont newspaper is neither silent nor subtle. Perhaps a change of course will be on the horizon, but not before shots are fired, the dog is kidnapped and decidedly fey Beenie starts looking at girlie mags. Entertaining

This is the second book in the new series which is filled with even more fast-paced action, crazy characters, steamy sex, suspense and nonstop hilarity.
Hard for me to put these books down.

These "Full" books by Janet are cute - something fast and fun to read while you're waiting for the next Stephanie Plum to be released. When you're looking for some good giggles, these are the best!

cute entertaining book. Not as "laugh out loud" as the Stephanie Plum novels.

Jamie Swift runs the local newspaper, and is surprised when her silent partner, Maximillian Holt, shows up. Actually, irritated. She has no time to clean up the office, or to entertain the money man. Never mind that he's DeeDee's very rich brother. Or that she needs the money for improvements. And, as she has been complaining about all of this to the very nice looking stranger she just met at the party, she's sunk when she finds out who he is.

A little to much like a romance novel for my taste.
