This was an enjoyable book and has made me a John Saul fan. The story about a high school girl that eventually becomes kidnapped keeps you interested. It's a very quick read. The story is not so far fetched that it couldn't possibly happen and that increases it's appeal.

Sometimes it's so hard to review books but not give anything away! Another Saul winner. He's not afraid to take risks in his stories and I didn't even have a guess until page 296 and the final story didn't really come out until the bitter end (and bitter it is!)

Very good John Saul book as usual! Kind of predictable but well written and interesting.
If you really want to be suprised and shocked this novel will keep you up to the wee hours of the morning.
