This is the written version of the movie Sabrina, though not nearly as well done. Jessie falls in love with the younger Dryden brother, Evan, at a young age (she even peeks over the fence by climbing in the tree a la Sabrina), but later when she is more mature, falls in love with the older brother, Damian, who works all the time and never has fun. Only everybody is counting on Jessie to save Evan, the younger brother who seems to be falling just a little bit apart. The heroine is a ditz. If she's in love with the older brother, there is no earthly reason why she continued to date the younger brother. Just a complete ditz....No sex which I don't care if the story is good, but dang-- the problem feels completely stupid. Now probably no one will want to trade for this book, but I cannot tell a lie.....

I don't mind retellings of classic stories, because similar situations will happen often. This story was a bit flat, though. I kept waiting for it to pick up, but the most interesting part was the description of the main character's best friends' outfit. If you have nothing else to read, then this is passable. If you have something else, I would opt for something else.
