Sebastian is everything a woman could possibly want in a man. He's gorgeous, charming, one of the most eligible bachelors in the world, rich as sin, will be the future ruler of his own country, and goes after what he wants with zeal. Unfortunately, all of these things mean he is so far out of Tessa's league she couldn't even begin to hope for anything more than a business relationship, no matter how much hidden attraction to the man she has.

Tessa has struggled to make a life for herself and this job was a good break when she needed it. However, affairs of the heart make it difficult for her since Sebastian is such a playboy she can't imagine him ever settling down, let alone with a working class woman like herself. Sebastian doesn't know what a good thing he has until he's about to lose it. Once Sebastian turns his considerable charisma on Tessa there is no turning back. Watching Sebastian, the Prince of Midtown, fall in love and seeing Tessa come to realize if she leaves her job and Sebastian that she'd be settling for less than she deserves provides a wonderful escape that is as entertaining as it is romantic.

One thing I've come to see is that Jennifer Lewis has an amazing ability to paint a picture with her words. She has remarkable talent for world building. I fell in love with the decadence of his homeland, from beautiful beaches to breathtaking mountains, to the quaint town modernized with an abundance of luxury boutiques. I could feel the sea air blowing across my face and smell the invigorating mountain air. I loved the visit to Sebastian's beloved Caspia. If only this country was a real place!
