Great book! Just love this series! I cannot wait for more Romney Marsh books- I definitey recommend reading the ones that precede this first. It is the third in the series.
Jo B. (1813 England. The Beckets of Romney Marsh - protecting their neighbors' smuggling efforts with their Black Ghost Gang - securing the area and operating in peace for 2 years. Then an alliance is formed between the oldest Becket daughter and a business associate - to pose as man and wife in order to bring down the vicious Red Men Gang who are terrorizing the area.
A good follow-up to "A Gentleman By Any Other Name" & "The Dangerous Debutante". With each book, another secret is given up by the interesting family that inhabits Romney Marsh. This one is about the fragile-looking (but made of steel) Eleanor.
