The first book in the Tyler series wets your appetite for the rest.
Can't want to see what develops with the characters in this town in the other books. A very enjoyable read.

The first in the "Tyler" series and I just loved it! I took it camping and read it from cover to cover in a day! I can't wait to finish the other 11! Great fast read with a bit of mystery.

The first in the Tyler Wisconsin Series - Each book is a self-contained story by a different author, but they all tie back to the town of Tyler Wisconsin.

When lively, brash (and unemployed) Liza Baron arrives home unepectedly in Tyler, she moves into the old family-owned but now for all purposes abandoned lodge - where silent mysterious Cliff Forrester has been living as a recluse in seclusion for years. The abandoned lodge is his haven from the horrendous memories of war in southeast Asia. He wants nothing more than for Liza to go anywhere else and leave him in his uneasy peace.

Liza decides that she is going to rebuild and bring the old lodge back to life. However when a contractor unearths a body on the lodge grounds, the community begins to see that what they believed about the history of Tyler's first family may not be the truth. The secret hidden for 40 years threatens to tear apart Liza's family and the town.
