Loved this book. The main characters were great. I loved the heroine. The dialogue was witty, charming, funny and sad at times. But this was a fantastic book.

Blake Ravenscroft's mission is to bringe "Carlotta" to justice, not ot fall in love. His heart has been hardened by years of intrigue, but this little temptress proves oddly disarming and thoroughly kissable. And suddenly the unthinkable becomes possible - that this mismatched couple might be destined for love.

This is a light, fun read. I didn't love it as much as J. Quinn's other novels, but I definitely enjoyed it.

Fun and interesting characters, especially the heroin. Very much enjoyed the book!

A light read with plenty of good humor. The plot is a forgone conclusion after the second chapter, but as I liked the characters so much, I didn't mind. And I was edified as I read the teaser line at the beginning of each chapter. (a good vocabulary builder ) A good book to pick up for a day at the beach.

All of Julia Quinn's books are funny and witty. I love them all.
