Book Description:
New York Times bestselling author Miller combines her trademark ability to spin a spirited yarn with the deliciously spooky elements of the vampire world.

Senator's aide Neely can't resist the erotic charm of reclusive Connecticut millionaire Aidan. But as they become closer, Neely discovers Aidan's dark secret.

Neely Wallace thought she had found the perfect lover. Aidan Tremayne was both angel and devil, as tender and sensitive as he was powerfully erotic. Then she learned the secret that tormented his soul... Aidan was cursed with the dark gift of immortality. His passion for a mortal woman was forbidden, a reckless temptation that fired the hunger within... and threatened to destroy them both.

This is book 1 of a 4 book series about vampires and their mortal lovers and the dangers they face. All 4 of these books are riveting. I could barely put them down!

Vintage Linda Lael Miller work. Neely Wallace is on the run after exposing a corrupt politician. Aidan Tremayne was turned into a Vampire against his will. The two meet and fall in love. But can a Vampire love a human? And can he return to a mortal state?

I love, love, love vampire romances and this one was one of the first to appear in romances way back when. What set it apart was its length and it's complex, multiple-character storyline. Other authors at the time wrote about the typical sexy vampire who sees, wants, bites then conquers the heroine. Not this story. If you like beta vampire heroes like Aiden, then this bud's for you. There are 3 or 4 spin-offs to this one.

A vampire love story. Aidan is wonderful. Protective and strong -- and he wants nothing more than to be rid of the curse that his plagued him for hundreds of years. Nealy is on the run and like a dark-eyed demon he swoops to the rescue. He is drawn to her and will do anything to find a way for them to be together. Wonderful, tender love story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

I just thought it took itself a little too seriously. I mean it's a romance novel with vampires, it's not going to be some great drama. The language seemed very stilted to me, and I just couldn't develop any feeling for the characters. I know this book is popular and I've nothing against anybody who likes it, it's just not for me.

So boring. If you wanted to read a good vampire series check out the Southern Vampire series by Charlaine Harris.

MS MILLER'S VAMPIRE SET IS TRULY TO BE READ. IF YOU CAN GET THE COMPLETE SET. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT. THIS IS AN EXTRA, TRUST ME, IF IT WAS NOT, I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT I COULD SHARE IT. I HAVE READ THE SET SO MANY TIMES IN THE LAST FEW YEARS, THAT I COULD ALMOST TELL YOU VERBATIUM WHAT WAS WRITTEN.

Pretty good tale of forbidden love - quick read. Sort of like Anne Rice got inside Linda Lael Miller's head for a bit.

this book is about the love of a woman for a man who is both a devil and an angel. At one time this was one of my favorite type of book.
