This was a good one! I liked all the talk of ghosts, made it interesting. Looking forward to reading more in this series.

I really love this series, and after taking a long break from it, it was terrific to read this 6th installment. This one seemed better than the previous couple, and makes me want to pick up the next one right away! Very entertaining and fun. And one doesn’t have to be a needlework fan to enjoy them, though I certainly am and I love it!

I don't understand the good reviews this book got. This was my first book by this author and definitely the last. I found parts of the story just thrown in b/c it needed something to fill the pages rather than actually contributing to the story. Luckily, it was a fast read and I didn't waste too much time on it.

Solving a murder mystery about something that occurred years ago, the author lets us in on all the clues, and we get to clear the accused of the crime right along with her. Fun, lots of action, fast read.

Another good one in this series, Love it.

Wonderful read - great for sewing lovers and mystery lovers.

So far, this is the best by Monica Ferris that I have read. The little romance brewing between Betsy and Morrie is a great addition to this series. I can't wait to read the next one.

If you like cozy mysteries~ Im sure that you would like this one!

Very enjoyable series about a women who inherits a cross-stitch store. Has a nice group of very interesting stitchers that contribute to the cases. Very cozy.

Betsy owns a needlework store which is the background for her sluthing - here she solves a 5 year old double murder? - a bit farfetched but still a fun read

Betsy Devonshire hires a man to fix the roof to her needlework shop, and she finds that most of the town think that this man has been guilty of a double murder five years before she hired him. She has to find out what really happened! A great story with warm, friendly characters and lots of suspense in this cozy mystery!

Back cover: Betsy is still new enough to Excelsior, Minnesota, to know know a scandal when she causes one. So, when she hires Foster Johns to fix her roof, the resulting uproar has her needles. The whole town has pinned a five-year-old unsolved double murder on him. Betsy believes Johns when he says he isn't guilty. But she'll have to use every stitch of her sleuthing skills to tie up all the loose sends that will prove his innocence once and for all.

#6 in a great series.
