I wasn't impressed. I could tell that this was her first novel without reading her bio at the back of the book. The writing just wasn't good, and it was beyond predictable. I don't know if she has other books, but I don't plan on reading another one.

Easy read. For anyone who has ever been a bridesmaid to the "bridezilla," you will love this book! I was the bride first in my circle of friends, but since then have been the bridesmaid in a number of weddings and I am very thankful that my days as a bridesmaid are almost over! Iteniraries, horrible dresses, ugly shoes you will never wear again, money you will see again... It is all in this book and very easy to relate to! Enjoyable book to read.

Typical chic-lit, it was a fast read but very predictable ending.

Such a fun story! Great read especially for anyone whose felt that they are "always the bridesmaid & never the bride"! Even though I am currently planning my wedding, I could totally relate to the character and all her bridesmaid escapades....reminding me of my younger times and the silly things being a bridesmaid throws you into.

I really enjoy books by Whitney Lyles. Her writing grabs you and hooks you in fast. The books are an easy, fast, and entertaining read.

Cute story about a woman who has more bridesmaid dresses than a dress store and how she survived 4 weddings in one season.

I enjoyed this book, thought it was funny and a quick, light read. better than typical chick lit.

Fresh and funny, with a charming heroine... and LOTS of weddings.

What do you do after you walk down the aisle in four weddings in a few months-none of them your own? What's left after you've donned the must-have-not dresses of the season, forked over your cash, and fake-smiled your way through countless photos? After you've dealt with the smashed guest, the smooshed cake, the dashed hopes, and the missed bouquets? That's what Cate Padgett is starting to wonder, as she embarks on stint after stint on the sidelines, watching friends swap bar-hopping for baby-naming...while her own love life goes nowhere fast. But is Cate unwilling to settle down-or just unwilling to settle? And can anyone really judge her if they haven't walked in her dyed-to-match shoes?
Wild, witty, and full of weddings to cry over, Always the Bridesmaid is an endearingly romantic comedy about standing out in the crowd even when everyone's wearing the same celery-green dress...and daring to make every day The Happiest Day of Your Life. (Amazon)
