Book Description:
After centuries as the Prince of the Carpathians Mikhail Dubrinsky fears he can't protect them for long from their greatest threat: the extinction of their species- a fate that has become the wicked prayer of his enemies. To ensure it, they are devising a scheme to slaughter Carpathian females. But even with his own lifemate, Raven, and their daughter, Savannah, vulnerable to the encroaching evil, Mikhail's hope is not lost...

In this desperate season, Carpathians from around the world are gathering to join their strengths, their souls, and their powers to bring light to the darkness. But so too are their adversaries uniting -- hunters, vampires, demons, and betrayers -- bringing untold dangers into the fold of the Carpathian people.

Now for the first time, born from the uninhibited imagination of Christine Feehan, all the inhabitants of Carpathian legend are reunited for a celebration of sensual adventure, undying passion, and astonishing fantasy -- one to remember for a thousand lifetimes.

I truly enjoyed this book. It was a bit of a change from her other work, though still dark. I have not laughed so hard while reading a book, the exchanges between Gregory and Mikhail where really great. I know many readers were disappointed, however I liked that Ms. Feehan was bringing the individual couples together reforming the Carpthian society.

Unlike many others I did not find the book too busy nor did I think there wasn't enough updates on the older characters. I really thought she had a great balance of the older characters and the introduction and expansion of some very interesting and exciting new charachters.

I think this is truely a must read.

I am disappointed in this book. I love most of her earlier books but she is beginning to be repetitive. I understood that she wanted to talk about all of the characters but I think she over extended herself in this book....there is just to much going on to have a wonderful story to sit down to. If the book were longer it might have worked but as it is, I was not impressed

A bit busy with so many characters present from previous books, but not a bad read all-in-all. The main problem I had with this book was the lack of attention paid to each couple or family, but then again, with so many characters, the book would've had to be 800 pages to devote as much attention to them all as they deserved. What I DID like was the fact that this story left the probability of more Carpathian stories wide open. Without naming names, I'll let you know that several bundles of joy will be along in future novels to continue their lines.

I loved this book. I liked seeing what those we've read about are doing and I love that she gives us leads into more books that are coming. I also love the idea of a Christamas reunion, to bring hope to those who haven't found their soulmates. It is a great read!

I love all of Christine's Dark series novel but I have to say I wasn't all that please when I read Dark Celebration. I loved that all the characters from previous books have reunited but Mikhail the prince of all Charpatian for me he seemed weaker than in the previous books.

Like always loved the story loved the characters especially Dimitri *drools* is a good read.

Overall I'm a fan of the series so i like it even with the slight disappointment.

This book will not let you down. Like all her books you can't wait until the other part of this series come out. This is book #14 of the dark series. It left off with 2 more stories after this.
