I truly enjoyed this book. It was a bit of a change from her other work, though still dark. I have not laughed so hard while reading a book, the exchanges between Gregory and Mikhail where really great. I know many readers were disappointed, however I liked that Ms. Feehan was bringing the individual couples together reforming the Carpthian society.
Unlike many others I did not find the book too busy nor did I think there wasn't enough updates on the older characters. I really thought she had a great balance of the older characters and the introduction and expansion of some very interesting and exciting new charachters.
I think this is truely a must read.

I am disappointed in this book. I love most of her earlier books but she is beginning to be repetitive. I understood that she wanted to talk about all of the characters but I think she over extended herself in this book....there is just to much going on to have a wonderful story to sit down to. If the book were longer it might have worked but as it is, I was not impressed

A bit busy with so many characters present from previous books, but not a bad read all-in-all. The main problem I had with this book was the lack of attention paid to each couple or family, but then again, with so many characters, the book would've had to be 800 pages to devote as much attention to them all as they deserved. What I DID like was the fact that this story left the probability of more Carpathian stories wide open. Without naming names, I'll let you know that several bundles of joy will be along in future novels to continue their lines.

I loved this book. I liked seeing what those we've read about are doing and I love that she gives us leads into more books that are coming. I also love the idea of a Christamas reunion, to bring hope to those who haven't found their soulmates. It is a great read!
