Years ago, an ancient Phoenician statue known as the Navigator was stolen from the Baghdad Museum, and there are men who would do anything to get their hands on it. Cussler does it again. Here is another great tale. As always, there is some event far in the past (two events in this book) that lead to the adventures of Austin and Zavala. While there are historical references here and there, you have to put credulity aside and just sit back and enjoy a well-spun tale that borders on fantasy but makes for a good story. If you like Cussler, you will like this one.
