This is a great thesaurus for students in younger grades (prob. 9th down). It is easier to read, with more common words being represented. A normal, unabridged thesaurus is often too difficult for a younger student to read, since it has too many complicated or unknown words in it- this one does not.
This is a great thesaurus for reference, ideal for student because of its compact, portable size.
