Again, Grisham uses a troubled/scheming lawyer in dramatic fashion. I truely enjoyed the story from cover to cover. I was somewhat disappointed in the ending, but every book cannot be exactly how we want it. If you are thinking of reading this book, it is an easy, enjoyable read.

wow, what a good story. I thought this was going to end with him actually coming out ahead of the game...nope. Wow, a guy steals 90 million bucks and buys his way out of jail. Excellent John Grisham read.

I am a big John Grisham fan and I love legal thrillers. This is again one of the good ones he has written. You will enjoy it if you are a Grisham fan also

A John Grisham novel is always a great read. This one has you rooting for the bad guy, or at least, I think he is the bad guy. It's John Grisham, what else can you say?

Patrick Lanigan stole ninety million dollars from his own firm, and ran for his life. Eventually he was caught.
Now Patrick is coming home to an extraordinary trial.
Prosecutors circle like sharks. Patrick's lawyer prepares a defense. Patrick's lover prays for a miracle. And Patrick's former partners wait for their revenge.
But another story is about to emerge. Patrick Lanigan knows something no one else in the world knows...
The Truth

Patrick Lanigan stole ninety million dollars from his firm but has been returned for trial. But is that the end of the story? Not, if you know John Grisham.
