i loved this one!! The last 2 or 3 by Sparks have been a bit of a disappointment to me, so I was a bit hesitant to get into this one. BUT it was worth it! It was very entertaining and got me from page one. I was curious as to the choice which doesn't come into play until a good 3/4 of the way in. But still, the book was a rare treat finally!! YEAH!

I’m a huge Nicholas Sparks fan and I have loved all of his books. However, I must say that I thought this one was especially well written and not predictable. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one day!

Nicholas Sparks never ceases to amaze me with his writing talents - he's a man for crying out loud and the stories that he puts on paper are as if he's an overly compassionate woman. I don't mean to sound sexist but not many men can write the way he does and with such compassion and conviction. What an AWESOME book this was - I thought I had the ending figured out, oh no - he totally had it changed than what I figured it out to be. Great book!

This excellent book by Nicholas Sparks asks the question, how far will you go for love? I loved the story of Travis Parker and Gabby Holland falling in love. The Choice at the end of the story will surpise you. This book definitely made me feel good!

I am a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks and have read all of his books. I found this book to be very disappointing and the worst of any his books. I dislike adultry and adulturers and was sickened because Nicholas Sparks was trying to make cheating sound attractive and exciting. In addition this book was tremendously predictable. I wish I would not have paid full retail for this book in hardcover. I would not recommend this book.

Travis Parker has everything a man could want: a good job, loyal friends, even a waterfront home in small-town North Carolina. In full pursuit of the good life -- boating, swimming, and regular barbecues with his good-natured buddies -- he holds the vague conviction that a serious relationship with a woman would only cramp his style. That is, until Gabby Holland moves in next door. Despite his attempts to be neighborly, the appealing redhead seems to have a chip on her shoulder about him...and the presence of her longtime boyfriend doesn't help. Despite himself, Travis can't stop trying to ingratiate himself with his new neighbor, and his persistent efforts lead them both to the doorstep of a journey that neither could have foreseen. Spanning the eventful years of young love, marriage and family, The Choice ultimately confronts us with the most heartwrenching question of all: how far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?
This is one of my favorite books by the talented Nicholas Sparks. You will be pleased with The Choice!

Nicholas Sparks does it again! I read this book in one evening because I just couldn't put it down. There were tears and a few giggles. Leaves you with questioning your own decisions in life and what choice you would make.

"The Choice" is a bitter-sweet love story that I would recommend for a lazy afternoon in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine and a box of tissues.

Could not put this book down! About 1/2 way through I started bawling and cried through the rest of the book. Most of Sparks' books are great but this was one of his best!
