I had watched the movie and loved it so decided to read the book. The book was excellent and held my interest in spite of the fact I knew what was going to happen. The ending was a little different than the movie but almost even more dramatic. I enjoyed this book from cover to cover. It will keep you turning the pages to see what is going to happen next. I recommend it for an easy but thrilling read.

Terrifying depiction of a juror who is threatened with mayhem and death if she doesn't sway other jurors to vote 'not guilty'. Readers will never want to serve on a jury again!

A thriller in every sense of the word! The twists and turns were completely unpredictable, and I literally could not put it down! I tried to go to sleep with about 60 pages left and could not stop my mind from dwelling on it until I put the light back on and finished it. If it were a movie (which I think it may actually be) I would have been on the edge of my seat.
A great read.

Annie Laird is Juror 224. A good citizen who has been summoned to what looks like a routine tour of civic duty. But the trial she is called to serve on is a mob trial, whose outcome has been meticulously orchestrated by a man of insidious power and deadly precision. THE JUROR is a tour de force of crime and obsession, evil and innocence -- a story that taps into fears so primal they linger long after the last page has been read.

Lolita Davidovich is the voice of Annie and Oliver. Her innocent, soft voice does an excellent job against the mobster and gravelly voice of John Heard. There are 3 cds in this audiobook and at the end of each one, I was scrambling for the next one. The drama unfolds at alarming rate until before you know it, your at the end. Fabulous heart-pumping thriller!!
