Search - The Beach House

It was an entertaining mystery, although a bit far fetched in places. It's an easy read and keeps you interested. I finished it in about a day and a half on vacation.

This is (yet another) fantastic book by James Patterson. I used to live on Long Island, and he captures the differences between "the locals" and the "summer people" perfectly. A great murder mystery with lots of twists.

Good story

Jack Mullen is a driven student of the law. His brother Peter is a servant of the rich, parking the cars of the Hampton's elite--and perhaps satisfying their more intimate needs as well. Then Peter's body is found on the beach. Jack knows the drowning was no accident, but someone's unlimited power and money haave bought the cops, the judges, the system. Now Jack is learning a lesson in jusstice he never got in law school...and his astonishing plan to beat the billionaires will have you reeling-and cheering-to the very last page.

This was the first James Patterson that I have read. It's not something I usually read, but once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. The plot is fast-paced and interesting. It's an easy, entertaining read. If you've never read James Patterson before, give this book a try.

Another Patterson great. He has not dissapointed me yet. Read through it very quickly. Action & drama a'plenty.

The Beach House was good, suspenseful, but not my favorite James Patterson novel.

I liked the way the authors showed that the rich and famous don't always get away with their bad behavior. The chapters are short as usual with Patterson and it makes for good reading. The main character, Jack is one smart cookie!

This was an excellent book with a few unexpected plot twists. It will keep you guessing right up until the end. I couldn't put it down.

I loved this book - written in a different style than some of Patterson's other books. I thought it was terrific!
