This was a funny, funny book--with some laugh-out-loud moments! I love the fact that Tante Lulu and Tee-John from the Cajun series are in this book. Hill's sense of humor and wit are winners for me! Warning~~there is quite a bit of rough and graphic sex language in this book, just an FYI for those who may be offended........

Laugh out loud as usual for a Hill book.
The heroine and hero were married and divorced four times, they get involved with her grandfather's treasure-hunting business, and they finally decide they can't live without each other. Veronica and Jake are thrown together in an adventure about lost gems, lost ships, and lost love.
Maybe a little too much madcap adventure.
First book in a new series.

Enjoyed this book a lot...humor, steam etc. Looking forward to the second in the series coming in July. Has a few of the same wacky characters from her other cajun series.

Distantly related to the Hot Cajun. A good story about treasure hunting and exes.

Stritlaced Boston lawyer Veronica Jinkowsky knows something is fishy when her estranged grandfather lures her to his New Jersey Treasure-hunting business with woeful tales of old age & bankruptcy. But she never expected the salty old dog to shanghai her into a hunt for pink diamonds with her poker playing, four-time ex-husband Jake Jensen in tow. Trapped with the man she could never learn to live with-and was never happy without-is Ronnie fated to be forever jinxed in matters of the heart?

Great fun read! I Loved how the author brought Tante LuLu and TJohn
(from her Cajun Series) into the storyline. I'm looking forward to book #2 in the Jinx series.
