This is a really cute story. Meg Addams, Tony award winning Broadway star, realizes that all the roles are going to the younger actresses. She yearns for the peace of the upper Westchester town that she grew up in. So she buys a house that is rumored to be haunted and moves with her moody, Goth 15 year old daughter Cosette. Soon she realizes that not only is there something supernatural going on in her house, but she is living next door to Sam Rooney, whom she had a major crush on in high school. Sam has been a widower for four years and is raising two children on his own. What follows is a sweet story of two people who can't resist each other, but hesitate to commit because of fears, reservations and commitment to their respective children. A worthwhile read!
