One of the best books I've read. What an adventure! I couldn't put it down and didn't want it to end. Thank goodness there are sequels. I read it years ago and still can't part with my copy of the book. Wonderful story.

A good book, takes place in pre-Columbus America.It starts out a little slow but picks up after the first chapter.

This was a great book to read. I enjoyed learning about the pre-histoic indians and their customs.

An excellent historical account of Native American life in the ancient times. I really enjoyed this book.

My mother seemed to enjoy this book, but I couldn't really tell for certain-she reads about 3-4 books a week. All I know is she finished it, so that must count for something as I couldn't do the same.

If you love stories of pre-history peoples, this is a good one to read. This story takes place in the American Southwest. Kwani finds love with Kokopelli. He rescues her from death and takes her to the Place of the Eagle Clan. She learns secrets only women know and passes the knowledge on to young girls. First of a two book set.
