Lady Mara St. Bride has never backed down from a good adventure, which was how she wound up roaming the streets of London in the middle of the night, wearing nothing but a shift and corset beneath an old blanket. Luckily, her brother's oldest friend, the devishly sexy Lord Darius Debenham, answered her plea for help. Now she intends to repay the favor...
Before Dare was wounded at Waterloo, he had embraced everything life had to offer. Forever changed by the war, he believes nothing - not even the interference of a lovely young minx like Mara - can rescue him from his demons. But Mara is determined to reignite his warm smile, and enlists the help of all the Rogues to offer Dare a temptation he cannot resist....

After Darius "Dare" Debenham rescues her from a potentially ruinous late-night adventure, Mara St. Bride vows to return the favor by rescuing Dare. A year after everyone thought he had perished at Waterloo, Dare turns up in England with little memory of what had happened to him and an addiction to opium. As Dare struggles desperately to overcome his dependency, the last thing he thinks he needs is someone like sweet, stubborn Mara meddling in his life, but she is determined to bring joy and light to the man she loves.
The last book in the "Company of Rogues" series of books.

This is a book the follows the "Rogue" Series, where one of the Rogues, Dare, is fighting to become free of a drug that was given to him during his time as a wounded "prisoner" of the war and the woman he gives him the ultimate freedom. Loved the book and would highly recommend it.

The last of Rogues, Dare Debenham has returned from the war a changed man. Once fun-loving, now he must battle a demon addiction. Lovely Lady Mara is determined to help him and offers a temptation he can't resist.
