Elisabeth P. (A great book, and beautiful story. She is a seer, and knows that she is destined to be the mate to a man of a different species, on a different world. People on his planet don't like her kind. She overcomes thier prejudices. After lots of trials and tribulations, they fall in love, and she is accepted by his people.

(Truly beautiful story about a 'see-er'of sorts, from one civilization assisting another culture by marriage to a leader in that culture, a less-than human culture that is dying out from lack of progeny. Her [the see-er] husband's people are to help save many lives of her people...[this is not a spoiler].
Challenging differences to be overcome on a world vastly different than the 'see-ers' and an incredible storyline lead to events that brought this reader [myself] to an emotional ending and believe me, I will be reading more of Spangler's work.
Very strong on competeing cultures. Romance was second, but strong element in the story. The man was the ultimate Alpha male.

I greatly enjoyed this book. Catherine Spangler is brillant at Sci-Fi Romance.
