Book Description:
Shy Jane Spyrus loved gadgets. She could build anything B.L.I.S.S. needed in that organization's international fight against crime - although its agents weren't exactly queuing up at her door. Some of them thought her innovations were too... well, innovative. Like her shrink wrap prophylactic constraints or her spray on truth serum. But they just didn't realize those items potential.

Of course, you couldn't use the wacky inventions to fix all your problems; Jane knew that better than anyone. Her neighbor had been kidnapped, driving that point home. She would have to team up with another human being - and Abel Andretti arrived just in time. He would help Jane find her neighbor, stop the evil machinations of Dirk Ensecksi, and most of all he would have to show her how to love the daylights out of something without batteries.....

Actually I was quite surprised at how well this book was written...I secretly was afraid it would be too cheesy...but I actually got involved in the plot and couldn't put it down. It was well thought out and had a great story line, characters, romance, etc.
I'd definitely give it a rave review.

The main character works for B.L.I.S.S. creating items for agents to use...kinda wonky, but when she gets pulled into "field work" is when it takes off and doesn't let go, right through to the end!

Two thumbs up!
