Book Description:
Having traveled through the Dance of the Gods to the land of Geall, the circle finds themselves convincing then training the people of Geall to defeat Lilith's vampire army. The Valley of Silence is a forbidding place for the battle of all battles, but the circle continues to prepare through magic and a few early stakeouts that test their strength individually and as a team.

Moira finds herself playing the roles of warrior and royal, as she follows the tradition of her people and prepares to take the crown before leading them into battle. And if that isn't enough, she finds her thoughts turning to Cian more often than not.

So what's a chaste and intelligent young woman to do when given less than a month with the man she loves, who's not a man, but a vampire? And how will the people of Geall fare against an army of blood-thirsty vampires who have had centuries to prepare?

Book 3, the final installment, of the Circle trilogy...

In which our heroes fight the great battle set them by the Goddess Morrigan, and where dragons and a vampire fight alongside the forces of Good, to defeat the forces of evil. Somewhat predictable ending - my only criticism, but a good read for all that.

Worth a try, and a proper conclusion for the series.

The ending of one of Nora Roberts' best trilogies. You want believe the ending. Made me sit up and go, "Oh my God!"

I bought this book because it was book#3 in the Circle Trilogy. I only got through half of the first in the series, "Morrigan's Cross". I didn't like any of the characters, and the story never captivated me. This is so unusual for a Nora Roberts novel - I think I've read all of her other trilogies as well as stand alones, and have loved them all. This series was a hugh disappointment.

This entire series by Nora Roberts had me so hooked into it that I cried when I finished the last book. I have never been so totally into the characters or storyline as I was with this group. Even the Three Sisters Island books didn't do what this story did to me. All I want is more, more & more like these books.

In the kingdom of Geall, the scholarly Moira has taken up the sword of her people. Now, as queen, she must prepare her subjects for the greatest battle they will ever fight -- against an enemy more vicious than any they have seen. For Lilith, the most powerful vampire in the world, has followed the circle of six through time to Geall.

Moira also has a personal score to settle. Vampires killed her mother -- and now, she is ready to exact her revenge. But there is one vampire to whom she would trust her soul..

Cian was changed by Lilith centuries ago. But now, he stands with the circle. Without hesitation, he will kill others of his kind -- and has earned the respect of sorcerer, witch, warrior and shape-shifter. But he wants more than respect from Moira -- even though his desire for her makes him vulnerable. For how can a man with an eternity to live love a woman whose life is sure to end -- if not by Lilith's hand, then by the curse of time?

A good conclusion to the circle trilogy. I liked it but I felt like it was just a bit forced in the end. Love the characters and you get to know Moira alot more as you see her struggle to meet the expectations of being a queen.

Step by step, destiny has brought a sorcerer, a witch, a warrior, a scholar, a shape-shifter and a lost soul to the land of Geall - and to the Valley of Silence. It is here that their voices will ring out against those of evil. The fate of every world hangs in the balance, as humanity rallies behind a newly crowned queen in a clash with a vampire who has reigned for centuries...

I enjoyed the entire Circle series and this book creatively completed it. Nora Roberts always give us an exciting ending. She ties all the ends together and gives us a happy ending as well. These books were consistently well written.

I have read so many of Nora Robert's books and this series is by far my top choice. The very first book I read of hers happens to be my favorite, Midnight Bayou, but I can say that this series is now right up there. My husband had purchased a cd at the time I was reading this series and every single one of their songs matched a scene in the books. It was creepy and all the more memorable for me. The band was Spartan and it is there second cd. I think it's called Three. Check it out!!

This is the conclusion of the circle trilogy... very dramatic series that takes you on a roller coaster ride and then gives you a surprise ending. when you are done you feel like you have been on a journey with these charactors.

The best in the series, and one of Nora Roberts best overall. While the first two in this series were about romance and friendship, this book not only encompasses those traits but has a strong element of passion. I could not put it down.
