In the small village of Hawkins Hollow, three best friends who share the same birthday sneak off into the woods for a sleepover the evening before turning 10. But a night of pre-pubescent celebration turns into a night of horror as their blood brother oath unleashes a three-hundred year curse.
Twenty-one years later, Cal Hawkins and his friends have seen their town plagued by a week of unexplainable evil events two more times - every seven years. With the clock winding down on the third set of seven years, someone else has taken an interest in the town's folklore. Quinn is a well known scholar of local legends, and despite Cal's protests, insists on delving in the mystery. But when the first signs of evil appear months early, it's not only the town Cal tries to protect, but also his heart.

I *LOVED* this book! Nora Roberts is the queen of trilogies, and BLOOD BROTHERS is the start of another winning romantic paranormal trilogy.
Cal, Fox, and Gage were only ten when they unleashed the demonic power trapped beneath the Pagan Stone. Every seven years, for seven days, a horrible and deadly power is unleashed in Hawkins Hollow. People commit horrible acts, and then can't remember doing any of it.
For these three men, it's been twenty-one years since whatever entity resided in that glade was let loose. Now, it's up to them to stop it before it's too late.
When Quinn comes to town, looking to research these strange events and turn them into a book, her presence seems to make the power of the three men even stronger -- but it also makes the "entity" stronger, as well. When Layla and Cybil are also drawn to Hawkins Hollow, the three men and three women band together to stop the horror that grips this town every seven years.
As I said, I really loved this book, and I can't wait for the next two books in the series. This is another winner, and fans of Ms. Roberts' THE KEY TRILOGY and the DANCE UPON THE... series will definitely enjoy THE SIGN OF SEVEN trilogy!

This book was a good read. I finished it in a day because I wasn't able to sleep because it scared me a bit! Otherwise, it was a good book with interesting characters. Pretty typical of Nora Robert's trilogies, it mixes the supernatural with the more mundane.

This is start of new trilogy. I bought on a Friday night and by Sunday am - read it all. This is a book of secrets- by the 3 main guys- by the town- by the 3 women involved. There are several scenes that made me shiver. She uses wonderful descriptions of the "encounters" to the point that you are there when the demon appears. Her men are real acting- not super heroes- but flesh and blood. The actions of everyone in the book draw you into their life. One of the mothers in the book is so real that you can identify with mothers you have known. And the father of Caleb is like so many real people I know.
I guess what I am saying- This is Roberts best book in a long time. You are actually there where this happens.
I am giving the book "10" stars. Only did that 1 time before.

This was my first Nora Roberts book and I LOVED it! I cannot wait until the next one comes out. It's about 3 kids who go out into the woods to camp out on the eve of their 10th birthday and unleash something evil. It is similar to Stephen King's "IT" in that they get together again and again into their adulthood to fight the evil that has taken hold of their quaint little town. It is mysterious, scary, romantic and so much more. I breezed right through it because it just had so much going on. The characters are great. Such a good book!

Amazing! Another Nora Roberts classic that you will not want to put down.
Roberts creates characters that stick with you; like the Morrigan's Cross trilogy, I know I'm going to be brokenhearted when I get to the end.
A trio of friends (with a great many coincidences among each other), unleash a dark evil on their town during their tenth birthday. It brings the "Seven" - seven days, during the seventh month, every seven years - that the town goes a little crazy.
It's been 21 years...and with some help from new friends, they're ready to face up to their responsibiltiy, as a haunting past calls to them, and they hold to the hope of a beautiful future as their weapon.

This book was amazingly good. Nora Roberts has done it again....trapped me in a book and captured my attention though the whole read. But i must say some of the parts were kind of chilling but that could be because i was reading late at night. I could not put this down and i cannot wait for the next book to get to me!!

Nora Robert's first book in her newest trilogy. This one brings all the main characters into the story line in the first book. Great for the summer beach read season!

This book was pretty good. I was expecting a little more to happen in it though. It reminded me of the witch trilogy a little bit. Sometimes I can't figure out why I read these books - LOL! They are so predictable!

Every time Nora Roberts writes a trilogy, I promise myself that I won't read the first book until I have all three in my hand. I keep thinking a marathon read! But, I can't ever wait! Blood Brothers--Book 1 of the Sign of the Seven Trilogy, is FANTASTIC! Nora Roberts at her best.
