Book Description:
After being tortured, his legs smashed beyond repair, former Navy SEAL and GhostWalker, Jess Calhoun, retreats to his home town of Sheridan, Wyoming where he owns the local radio station. He appears to be making a new life for himself, writing songs and living quietly. He does his physical therapy and looks innocent and gentle in his wheel chair.

Saber Wynter answers an ad for the radio station, the perfect night job for someone on the run. She gets a lucky break renting the upstairs of radio station owner Jess Calhoun's, home where she can work also as a part time housekeeper. He spends most of his time locked in his private, off-limits office or doing physical therapy. She's small and fragile looking, almost child-like and appears in need of protection.

Who would ever suspect that two deadly predators live side by side in the same house?

I enjoyed this one actually. It was less of a paranormal than the others in the series have been, although there is a strong paranormal element to it. I really liked that the hero was "less than perfect" (I'm not going to spoil it for you as to how I mean!) physically. And I also liked the fact that they didn't wait until the last page to admit they loved one another.

Predatory Game tells Jess story from Mind Game. I have been looking forward to this release and have all of the Ghostwalker books as keepers, but this one was not nearly as good as the rest of the series.

Some of the high points were getting to "visit" with previous Ghostwalker couples Ken and Mari & RyLand and Lily. But the plot of this book wasn't smooth, we didn't get enough of relationship to settle Sabers fears or enough of the conflict against them to feel that we had the full story. She seemed to rely on the sexual compatibility to bind them together. And while she truly can write some hot steamy scenes that I enjoy, I want to have the character development in addition. And the sexual deviancy of the enemy was not necessary and really uncomfortable to read.

I wanted the Ghostwalker series to continue to be a better written series than her Dark, but this one fell short for me.

I really enjoyed this book. If you're not perfect...then this book is for you! ;-) The interaction between the charaters was pure electric. SEXY,HOT, read! I will reread this one!!

Unfortunately it's getting to the point where you've read one GhostWalker book you've read them all. The plots seem to be very similar, but the characters do grab the heartstrings and don't let go, so I keep reading the books just to see what happens to them all. I have a tendency to skim over large sections, however, because the author sort of rambles a little bit. The sex scenes are hot, but again if you've read one you've read them all. In this book, I really liked Jess and enjoyed reading the playful relationship he had with Saber before the sex took over. It kind of made me sad that a lot of that playfulness was lost when the sex started, replaced with lusty scenes instead. I think the book would have been better if some of the sex at the end (and there was a lot of it) was cut out and replaced with some more of the lighthearted flirting that was at the beginning.

this is the first book that by Christine Feehan, that I had a hard time finishing. It was boring, and not a page turner like mind game, deadly game, nigh games now those were captivating, action pack, and intense .Book 6
just did not have the IT factor.

Saber Wynter is running for her life from egomaniac Dr Whitney. Saber answers an ad for a job at a small radio station. Jess Calhoun, ghostwalker with his own problems, owns the radio station and gives her not only a job but also a home in exchange for light housekeeping. Jess senses a kindred spirit in Saber. Danger follows and soon riddles from both their pasts explode endangering them and a future.

Four stars.

This was like reading Laurell Hamilton--take away the sex scenes and there might be enough left for a short story.

Love these books. I've read all of them at least 3 times. Strong women and the men that love them. This book will keep you flipping the pages you won't be able to put it down.

Not as good as the others in the game series, but still a really good read.

Saber Wynter, the heroine, has a fascinating paranormal gift but it wasn't really described until you're well into the book. I liked the match between the two since you enter into the love match months after Jess and Saber have known each other. A sweet story even if it doesn't flow as well as other books of Feehan's and it's just spicy enough.
