Book Description:

Murder and suspects with deeply entangled relationships make this a fun read. Detective Inspector Thomas Lynley, a British aristocrat, and Detective Sergeant Barbara Havers--of working class origins--form the police team assigned to the case.
Another spell-binding mystery with Det. Inspector Lynley and Det. Sgt. Barbara Havers. Human relationships and murder in the Scottish Highlands.
This is a good "modern English mystery" series, not too violent, a little dark, featuring some interesting character psychology. The plot moved slowly, the characters interesting but a bit stereotypical. The story was clever enough, however.
Great as always - phoentic writing of different dialects was a little difficult to follow at first, but a lot of fun to read (*and say HA!)
