This is an adorable book that my daughter and I both enjoy reading. It's the story of a little mouse that makes a big mess when a human family goes to bed. The text rhymes thoughout and young children get a kick out of seeing the "clever" ways the mouse plays with ordinary pantry foods. The illustrations are in this book are excellent -- richly colored pictures that help the text come to life. The story itself is not too long, so younger toddlers would be able to sit through the story without getting bored. Highly rec as a good book to have in a children's library of books.
