After reading the first chapter of Wolf Tales I it's easy to understand the mixed reactions. This is one weird book!

After Alexandria walks in on her fiance buck naked with another woman -- in their bed no less -- she decides to hop in her car and escape for awhile. As luck would have it, she ends up getting run off the road while caught in a blizzard. She begins to walk in the hopes of finding some shelter but gets all turned around and lost in the blinding snow. She succumbs to the cold and collapses in a heap giving up all hope of rescue. When she awakens she feels an intense heat emanating from the male form laying naked beside her now naked body. What? Where'd he come from? Overcome by lust and gratitude, she allows him to do as he wishes with her body. Never seeing his face. Yes, Never Seeing His Face. She then passes out from exhaustion. Life is so tough some days.

Thus begins Stefan (the naked, faceless man) and Xandria's love affair. From the moment they touch they're connected and Xandria finds herself overwhelmingly attracted to him despite the fact that he's, eh, covered in gray downy fur, has a "muzzle" and a beastly protrusion where a man-part is supposed to be located (I'm thinking this is where the other reviewers went "ick!!"). It's weird, oh yes it is, but so vividly written that you just can't turn away even though your brain is screaming "this is so not right, stop reading, STOP READING NOW!".

I'm sad to say this book went downhill at the midway point. A little more plot would've gone a long way here. One sex scene after another gets excruciatingly dull when there's no plot to get in the way. I ended up bored and skimmed my way to the end so I could it pass it along.

Burning hot, not for the faint of heart.
The characters were cardboard to me,and the whole thing suffered from lack of plot, but if you're looking for heat, it's got that in spades.

I'm a big fan of erotica, but this book fell flat from the get go for me. Just having sex with the faceless man seemed, well, weird. I prefer even erotica to have a nice full and flowing story line. The storyline is this one was, well, sex. HOT sex, yes, but that isn't a story. The other "plot" of the book was choppy and didn't flow at all. I actually found myself not wanting to finish it due to lack of care for the characters in it. I simply didn't CARE what happened to them. I knew without a doubt they'd all end up in bed together and that would be it, so why bother? I'll probably try #2 just to see if it's better. This particular book just wasn't for my taste. Lots of graphic sexual encounters with m/f, m/m, m/m/f, f/f. Plus even sex as animals, as the characters ARE shapeshifters. If that isn't to your liking, I do not encourage you to read this at all.

This book is definately a sizzler. Has "something" for everyone in it; and the story isn't bad either! I highly recommend it to erotica lovers.

The characters in this book shift into wolves. This book is very explicitly sexual. There are scenes with M/F, M/M, M/F/M, and F/F. If those type of sex scenes turn you off, this book is not for you.

THIS IS A SHAPE-SHIFTERS BOOK WITH A LOT OF EROTICA. BUT THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR JUST ANYONE. ONE SHAPE SHIFTER THINKS HE IS CURSED, DOES NOT KNOW THAT HE IS A WEREWOLF. SO HE IS TRYING TO FIND ALL THE ANSWERS. THE OTHERS IN THIS ARE HOT AS WELL.

One dimensional characters and bestiality add up to true love in this book.

More erotic than romance, but an interesting supernatural story that kept me wondering.

I really did not enjoy this one at all. I will try another one by Kate Douglas, but this was too graphic and had a writing style that seemed stilted and mechanical to me.

I enjoyed the story. Not for the very sensitive reader. Interesting story line.

My first erotic book. It was ok. The sex was very explicit and there was a lot of it. The story was ok but it seemed rather silly at times. All in all, it was a fun, amusing read. I may try another.

I liked these series. I do only have Wolf Tales I and II and not the others. I have yet to get them. Please be aware that this is what they dub as "REALLY HOT" book and is sexually explicit.

This is a really sick book. Right from the beginning a human having sex with a creature(man) cursed in a body half human/half wolf. Head of a wolf and his male part of a wolf.
I hope you get the picture. Never finished reading. I'm not that open minded.
