It's the fourth book in the Left Behind series. If you've read the other three, you'll have an idea of what this one is about. If you haven't read the previous three, this might be a bit difficult to understand.

Rayford Steele and Buck Williams have survived the wrath of the Lamb, a global earthquake in the twenty-first month of the Tribulation. As the world hurtles toward the Trumpet Judgments and the great soul harvest prophesied in Scripture. Rayford and Buck begin searchig for their loved ones from different corners of the world.

Soul Harvest takes you from Iraq cto America, from six miles in the air to underground shelters, from desert sand to the bottom of the Tigris ERiver, from hope to devastation and back again-all in a search for truth and life.

I've read this book before but I wanted to get back into the series and I couldn't remember the whole story so I re-read it.

I have to say that I was very entertained by this book. I think that this series is so well written that if you don't believe in the Rapture that you would enjoy the story line.

The characters in this story are so well developed that you can't help but to form a bond with them. The book jumps around a bit, but it is not distracting and it does not deter from the story at all. In fact I think that this is a very well written book.

If you have not read any of the Left Behind books I would encourage you to start at the beginning. Although there is enough past written into this book that you could pick up most of what happened I would imagine that there are little things that add to the story that you would miss if you picked up in the middle.

Overall I think this is a great book and a great series. I'm going to start the next book as soon as I can!

This book kept me more interested than the previous ones. The times of tribulation are in full swing and the antichrist is really showing his true colors. The wrath of the lamb happened and killed millions of people, now the trumpet judgements are going on. There are some shocking revelations made concerning the Tribulation Force. You have to read it to find out what they are.

LOVED this book as well as the whole series. Each time, I could not wait for the next book to come out. Like visiting old friends every new book. This series was the first I have seen that dealt with the Rapture and it was great.

This is a series that you have to read from the beginning, in the mind set the authors intended...Fiction. Although much is taken from the book of Revelation in the Bible, it is the author's interpretation you are reading, not actual events. That said, it is very hard to keep that in mind when reading this series, because it is so detailed you feel like you are caught up in a real life disaster with eternal consequences.

Number four in a great, well thought out series based on the end times of the Bible. I highly suggest starting at book one, especially if you're a fan of series books.

I really love this series and Soul Harvest (Book 4) is no exception. What I love about these books is that LaHaye and Jenkins don't write to appease, they describe things as they are: shocking, devastating, scary, soul-searching. There are so many things that relate to the current state of the world - the disasters, the acceptable criminal mind, the greed and the ethical and moral belly-flop of our societies. Buck and Rayford are again the heroes, putting their lives on the line to do what needs to be done and taking care of the people they have committed their hearts and minds to.

Whether or not you believe in the Bible, Left Behind does make for an interesting tale of comfort through crisis (especially post 9/11), conspiracy, a father's relationship to his daughter, and how a newsman deals with removing his feelings to get to a story. The best way to read this series is as a fictional novel in which extraordinary events have happened, people will start to believe in religion. Details are taken out of the Book of Revelation and fiction is added to make it an enjoyable read. I enjoyed the book and the and the rest of the series intense action and feeling which makes them page turners.

Must reading for Christians who know Armageddon is in the future. Exciting reading for any one else who likes a good suspense story!

I really enjoyed the beginning of this series. A scary yet exciting look at End Time Prophecy.
