Assassins is the sixth book in the continuing drama of those left behind at the Rapture of the church--events prophesied in the Book of Revelation, dramatically depicted in a setting that could be anytime in the not-so-distant future. The plot takes many twists and turns as the Tribulation Force moves through mayhem and destruction created by Nicolae Carpathia and his followers. The life of the Carpathia-appointed head of Enigma Babylon One-World Faith is in jeopardy, as are the lives of the two witnesses at the Wailing Wall. Adding to these already vivid narratives, a supernatural horde of 200 million demonic horsemen appears to wreak further death and destruction. A member of The Tribulation Force dies, while the group continues to prepare for a future as fugitives, and houseguest Hattie Durham, who is not committed to their faith and mission, leaves the "safe house." Rayford Steele, one of the original Tribulation Force, struggles with his desire to kill Carpathia and his need to maintain a low profile, keeping his allegiance to the group secret to Carpathia and his puppets. World history and prophecy collide in Jerusalem at the middle of the Tribulation for this most explosive yet continuing drama of those left behind.

This book 6 in the Left Behind series, a series of books that I could not put down. I never read religious fiction until the first book in the series, and from the start, I was hooked. If you started the series, this is a book you will want.

This book is the continuing drama of those left behind, the Tribulation Force hurtles toward the four murders foretold in prophecy. Read about the Antichrist's head wound, the supernatural horde of 200 million demonic horsemen slaying a 3rd of mankind and the preparation for fugitives of those who disagree. The whole world in crisis.

I read the books a couple of years ago. Very good and up to date in my book if you follow the news and the turn or world events.

one of the best books i've ever read i had never read a series of books the whole series gets you hooked and thinkin what happens next it will make you laugh cry mad and more faithful and look to the lord for answers in your life
This book picks up and builds on the previous 5 books in the series. It is the turning point of the tribulation and the doorway to the Great Tribulation to follow. Surprising and riviting.
Whether or not you believe in the Bible, Left Behind does make for an interesting tale of comfort through crisis (especially post 9/11), conspiracy, a father's relationship to his daughter, and how a newsman deals with removing his feelings to get to a story. The best way to read this series is as a fictional novel in which extraordinary events have happened, people will start to believe in religion. Details are taken out of the Book of Revelation and fiction is added to make it an enjoyable read. I enjoyed the book and the and the rest of the series intense action and feeling which makes them page turners.
