My first book from this author and I was pleasantly elated to welcome a new talent. Sands weaves an fun romp with great characters and lots of sexual overtones.
Lady Margaret Wentworth to save her servants and house must write exposes about the gentleman's underworld. Lord James who vowed to Margaret's dead brother to protect Margaret quickly realizes he's signed up for more than he can handle.

Lord James is keeping a promise to look after his dead friend's sister. She is (secretly) a reporter, but he thinks she is Lady X, a famouse courtesan. Mistaken identity & a few twists keep this novel a step above the rest.
