Another story from Goulart based on an old legend...this time the lost continent of Lemuria and its supposed civilization. It features Jake Conger, the "Wild Talent Division" agent who can become invisible, tracking down rumors that Lemurians are actually ET's planning to take over the world from an underground base. It has his usual light humor, and some themes unusual in SF: Jake the agent is faithful to his wife, and is also a health nut and a vegetarian. This is contrasted with society as a whole, glutting itself on sweets and junk food. I think Goulart was a man ahead of his time, foreseeing the obesity and health problems of America today.
