Once Bitten is a little more a mystery than a paranormal romance. There were quite a few things I did not like about this book, one of which at the end the fate of one person was left sort of dangling. The author told us what will happen, but didn't show us. The rest are my own pet peeves, and probably won't bother anyone else. I did like her style of writing. Very smooth and no repeating things over and over. One thing that was a little wishy washy was whether or not Eric will make Angie into a vampire. She wasn't sure, she was sure, she talks him into it, he talks her out of it...When the time came, I wanted him to bite her and get it over with.
This was not my favorite book ever, but I finished it, and plan on getting the next one, because I think they're going to get much better.
