Book Description:
A robbery, a lynching, and a mourning mother shakes up the Yada Yada Prayer Group.

I had never felt so violated! The Yada Yada Prayer Group was "gettin down" with God in prayer and praise one night when a heroin-crazed woman barged into my house, demanded our valuables, and threatened us with a 10-inch knife -- a knife that drew blood.

We wondered if we'd ever get back to normal after this terrifying experience. I assumed we would (although "normal" doesn't usually describe the twelve of us mismatched women anyway). After all, we'd started praying together at the Chicago Women's Conference last spring, and we'd been through a lot already as spiritual sisters. This was just one more hurdle to conquer, right?

But then a well-meaning gesture suddenly incited a backlash of anger in the group, forcing us to confront generations of racial division, pain, and distrust -- and stretching our friendships to the limit. Initially I thought, "Surely I, Jodi "Good Girl" Baxter, am not responsible for other people's sins -- am I?" But a shocking confrontation in my third-grade classroom forced me to face my own accountability, and God used the Yada Yada Prayer Group (and my own husbands, of all people!) to show me what true forgiveness really is.

I went to bed at 11pm and grabbed this book to read a chapter to fall asleep. It's now a little after 5am. I never got sleepy. I had no desire to put this book down. I just wanted to keep reading. If I can make through the rest of the day, I will probably be buy the rest of the series.

Awesome book following the lead of book 1. I loved the followup on all the characters and the new challenges the Yada Yada group went through, how I wish I had a prayer group like this!

I love this series! This is book 2. I don't think you would have had to have read book 1 first, but it never hurts.

The second book in the Yada Yada series could be read on it's own, but you should really read book 1 first. This book mainly focuses on what it means to forgive. The prayer group discovers how to forgive their enemy as Christ forgave them. It's your favorite characters from book one continuing their journey in faith and prayer.

I love the yada yada series. In fact I've went out and bought the rest of the series. It's a great series that keeps you interested as the story line flows nicely and has enough twists and turns in the plot to keep you interested.

I highly suggest you read book 1 before reading this one so you understand a bit more what is happening to all the women. Though this book can be read as a stand alone book if you want.

If you love a bit of suspense and women coming together in God's love this book is for you. Everyone I talk to loves this series. And when I bought the rest of the books at the bookstore even the clerk was talking about how much she loved the series. You can't go wrong with Neta's books!

This book was great just like the first one! I am in the process of getting the next ones in line. The book brings in everyday life, not the perfect one that some books have. I can relate to alot of the things that go on in the book. I highly reccomend it!
